Shattered Mind vznikol ako metalcore projekt s prvkami moderného a melodického death metalu koncom roka 2018 v Bratislave. Vtedy kapela začala pracovať na prvom EP Living In The Past, ktoré vyšlo v roku 2020. EP obsahuje 4 skladby - A day to remember, Expectations, Farewell a The Devil's Reflection, kde hosťuje Chris Clancy (Mutiny Within, Wearing Scars). Pandemická situácia neumožnila hranie naživo, ale kapela sa dostala na zoznam nominantov Radio_head Awards 2020 ako objav roka. Od roku 2021 s novým frontmanom vznikli skladby Ultima, Upgrade a Freedom Through Fire ako súčasť pripravovaného EP - Dying in the Future
Shattered Mind was formed as a metalcore project with elements of modern and melodic death metal at the end of 2018 in Bratislava.
At that time, the band began working on their debut EP Living In The Past, which was released in 2020.
The EP contains four tracks: A Day to Remember, Expectations, Farewell, and The Devil's Reflection, which features guest vocals by Chris Clancy (Mutiny Within, Wearing Scars). Due to the pandemic, live performances were not possible, but the band was nominated for the Radio_Head Awards 2020 in the Newcomer of the Year category.
Since 2021, with a new frontman, the band has created songs Ultima, Upgrade, and Freedom Through Fire as part of the upcoming EP Dying in the Future.
